CCIA Food PantryThe CCIA Food Pantry has been providing emergency food to residents of Ontario County since 2006. We are honored to partner with other emergency providers here at the Co-Op located in the basement of the Thompson Apartments. The food pantry is located in room 31.When visiting, please bring one form of identification and proof of residency. Face masks are optional when visiting.
The CCIA Food Pantry is a member of the local foodbank network, Foodlink. We receive 75% of our food supply from them. We rely on the kindness and generosity of our local community to help fill the gaps through food drives and financial donations. These help to keep our shelves stocked so we can offer our families a variety of food choices. Our mission is to help provide three days of emergency food for Ontario County Residents. Families living in the 14424 zip code may visit the food pantry once every two weeks. Ontario County families living outside the 14424 zip code may visit once every four weeks. No appointments are needed, we serve families based on first come first served. We are pleased to offer a “Client Choice” model for our families. This allows you to pick and choose the foods that you will receive. Please be patient as we serve our families We will offer meats, eggs, cheese, butter, produce and bread when available as well as personal care products to our families. If you are planning a food drive we have a wish list under the donations tab. When you are ready to deliver your food please contact us at 585-396-9482 to schedule a drop off time. We have wagons / carts available to help bring in your donation. At this time we are unable to accept any home canned (processed) fruits, vegetables and canned / boxed food with “best use by dates” that are over one year old. During the harvest season, local gardeners can donate produce: tomatoes, peppers, squash. These donations must be dropped off during open pantry hours. You may call 585-396-2242 for more information.
