The Canandaigua Churches in Action (CCIA) Food Pantry is designated an Emergency Food Pantry that is supported and staffed by local churches.
This Emergency Food Pantry has two locations. The main food pantry is located at 120 North Main Street in Canandaigua. This location is in the basement of the F.F. Thompson Apartments across from the Wood library. This food pantry is open Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 AM—12 NOON. Appointments are not necessary.
The satellite location is at Zion Fellowship, 5188 Bristol Road, Canandaigua. This emergency food pantry will be open on Mondays from 4-5 PM and Thursdays from 7-8 PM. No appointment is required but calling in advance is helpful. You may call 394-7450 for information.
There are no income requirements to meet in order to receive help. The only requirement is that you are in need of emergency food assistance. There is an intake form to fill out. One thing we ask is that you bring one form of identification with you. We will supply you with three meals for three days.
Ontario County families (residents) living in the 14424 zip code may receive emergency food two times a month from the combined sites. Ontario County families (residents) living outside the 14424 zip code may receive emergency food only once a month from the combined sites. Families living outside Ontario County may receive emergency food only once and are helped to find emergency assistance in their own county of residence.
Please be patient with us as we move forward in this combined effort. We are always seeking better ways to reach out to our community. If you have any suggestions for us please feel free to let us know.
